Hi everyone, I am wondering what are the differences between the regular food we buy at the store with organic? I know it has more vitamins, minerals and less bad stuff ,so could you please explain how much. Also how dangerous can be non organic food?
Thank you!

Does anyone have any insight or reasoning on this? I went to the store and saw the regular milk expired a wek later, normal, but for some reason organic milk had an expiration date of over a month away! Why is this?

Hi! Recently I was starting to plant some vegetables in my backyard. But need to have some fertilizer to keep my vegetables healthy, but I don’t want to use chemical fertilizer. So can someone tell me which website teaches us how to produce organic fertilizer at our own home? I appreciate your help. Thanks!
Er… I mean search on internet for the ways to produce fertilizer…

I am trying a organic diet and want to grow my own vegetables without using pesticides. What is the best way I can grow lettuce & spinach without using harsh chemicals?

Also I have alot of clay in my yard, what type of dirt should I use?
Do I have to use a fertilizer? And if so what kind would you reccommend? (Not my own!LOL)

If you know of any great websites that tell you about growinbg your own vegetables (especially organic) I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I recently had an old wooden house i purchased torn down. the city refilled the large hole which is approximately 3 feet deep with useless light brown dirt and large granite white rocks. I would like to create a fruit and vegetable organic garden. My plan is to remove twelve inches of the top layer and replace it with some new soil hummus, manure and top soil. do you think this is a good plan?

My town is really small and we have a veryyyyy limited grocery store, the nearest Kroger is an hour away and the nearest organic food store is even farther so I’ll have to do a good deal of my organic shopping online.

Also, if you know where I can get organic fruits/vegetables, that would be helpful.
Nah Pat, but I’ll see if they have it.
I don’t know any of these stores you people are talking about, lol. I only have Trader Joes here, and I’m from New York btw.
Whole Foods? No, don’t think so, Trader Joes is here, it sells generally less processed food than most stores, it’ll probably have organic food, I’ll check there.

None of the supermarkets sell enough organic foods. Everything I eat is organic so its difficult to get a variety of vegetables to eat. Any help?
Megan L - if you didn’t know, then maybe you shouldn’t answer just so you could get 10 points.
