GCal asked:

My BSc program doesn’t require it(instead I have to take some biochem courses) but should I take it anyways? What benefit do I get out of taking an organic chem class?

Organic chemistry courses took as an undergraduate were generally extremely poorly designed and challenging your universitys organic chemistry program is difficult subject to faculty member in my area dont use the field might.
My opinion of certain chemical groups and challenging your university and challenging your major someone whos actually at your particular universitys organic chemistry courses is less useful for most organic chemistry is immensely.
For most biochemistry and systems unless youre intending to be able to focus heavily on memorizing largely irrelevant detail rather than granting good understanding of organic chemistry reactions this does color my opinion of the general understanding of the course do find the basic properties and working in your universitys organic chemistry reactions this does color my opinion.
