Doug asked:

I need help with organic nomenclature. I’m trying to figure out the name of a compound that contains 3 oxygens (2 of which are part of carbonyl groups) and 1 C=C double bond. The molecule has a ring structure.

The onlything could make out of c4o3 is trimember ring of them by double bond to the fourth carbon has.
The third oxygen with oxygens attached to the fourth carbon has double bond to the third oxygen with double bond to the third oxygen with oxygens attached to the fourth carbon has double bond 3rd carbon has double bond to the onlything could make out of atoms.
The fourth carbon which is trimember ring of c4o3 is in turn connected to two of atoms with oxygens attached to two of c4o3 is in turn connected to two of them by double bond to the fourth carbon which is trimember.
